The Children of Liberty are committed to a strong military and America's dominate role in world politics. Therefore, we start by reducing defense spending based on the military’s own recommendations, saving $200 billion over two years.
Much of this savings comes from moving away from the strategy of fighting World War II style wars. We will fund increased spending on intelligence and cyber security by eliminating the tax subsidy provided to the oil industry for Persian Gulf petroleum of $25 billion annually.
We also increase revenue through a small direct export tariff on allies and dependents pay for the war on terror, recouping $90 billion over two years for our efforts in preserving the flow of oil from the Middle East.
